Celebrate your special gathering at The Kate at 318! Nestled in the heart of historic Geneva, Illinois, The Kate at 318 is a welcoming, cozy spot to host showers, private events, and meetings.  Our private event space can accommodate up to 60 guests seated and 100 guests standing.

The Anne Gathering Room

The Anne Gathering Room

  • Enjoy exclusive access to The Anne Gathering Room and The Elizabeth Common—featuring a built-in bar, multiple TVs, a sunlit atrium, and a private outdoor patio. This space also includes two private restrooms.

  • Capacity: up to 60 seated and 100 standing

  • 4 hour total rental (3 hour event + 30 min client (renter) set-up and 30 min client (renter) clean-up). 

  • $75/hour for each additional hour

  • 4 hour minimum rental is required to book the space.

  • You are welcome to bring your own dessert.

  • The full room rental fee is nonrefundable within 30 days of the event.

  • The rental includes: chef’s tables, tables, chairs, serving pieces + utensils, dishware, glassware, flatware, coffee cups, and napkins will be provided.  Linens are not included or provided.  Our event tables are 60” round, black, linen-less tables. You may also bring in your own linens.

  • Friday & Saturday Evenings

    • Standard Rate: $1,000

    • Non-Profit Rate: $800

    • Complimentary for MHG Clients

    All Other Times

    • Standard Rate: $500

    • Non-Profit Rate: $400

    • Complimentary for MHG Clients

Please note: The above rates are for a 4 hour total rental time (3 hour event + 30 min client (renter) set-up and 30 min client (renter) clean-up).  Every additional hour is $75.

  • 60 seated and up to 100 guests standing

  • You may bring in your own dessert

  • The full room rental fee is nonrefundable within 30 days of the event.

  • The Kate does not have an exclusive parking lot. We recommend the Fulton Street parking lot which is located behind our building. Street parking information can be found here: https://www.geneva.il.us/1119/Downtown-Parking

  • No open flames, confetti or glitter. If you need to hang decorations, please use Command strips or other non-damaging options.  Please do not use strong tape, nails, or staples.

  • 100% of the room rental fee is due at booking.  The space will not be reserved until this is paid in full.  The room payment is non-refundable within 30 days of the event date.

    The final food count is due 7 days prior to the event date. . After the count is submitted, you can increase the number slightly, but you cannot decrease it.

    Final payment is due in full at end of your event.

    You can pay by check, cash, or credit card.

  • Yes, The Kate is an ADA compliant establishment.  An elevator is available.  

  • A 25% gratuity and 8% tax is added to all orders

  • There is a $30 per hour bartender fee, if a bartender is needed for the event.

  • We will gladly customize a menu to fit any dietary restriction.
