Celebrate your special gathering at The Kate at 318! Nestled in the heart of historic Geneva, Illinois, The Kate at 318 is a welcoming, cozy spot to host showers, private events, and meetings.  Our private event space can accommodate up to 120 guests.

THE KATE’S PRIVATE EVENT SPACES ARE PERFECT FOR:

The Anne Gathering Room

$500 | $400 for non-profit organizations | Complimentary to MHG Clients

  • Use of The Kate’s private event space (50 - 80 guests) with high ceilings, bright natural lights and barn door.

  • Chef’s tables, tables, chairs, serving pieces + utensils, dishware, glassware, flatware, coffee cups, and napkins are provided.  Linens are not included or provided.  You may bring in your own linens.  

  • 4 hour total rental (3 hour event + 30 min client (renter) set-up and 30 min client (renter) clean-up). 

  • $75/hour for each additional hour

  • 4 hour minimum rental is required to book the space.

  • You are welcome to bring your own dessert.

  • The full room rental fee is nonrefundable within 30 days of the event.

The Elizabeth Commons

$1,000 | $800 for non-profit organizations | Complimentary to MHG Clients

  • $250/hour for each additional hour

  • Tables, chairs, serving pieces + utensils, dishware, glassware, flatware, coffee cups, and napkins are provided. Linens are not included or provided. You may bring in your own linens.

  • The Anne Gathering Room is a private space with a gorgeous chef’s table, high ceilings, bright natural lights and barn doors that can hold 50 guests seated or 80 guests standing.

    The Elizabeth Commons includes use of the Anne Gathering Room PLUS the private outdoor patio and atrium space.  The Elizabeth Commons can accommodate 80 people seated and 120 standing. 

  • You may use any of the vendors on our preferred vendor list until November 1, 2025.

    After November 1, 2025, our friends at Bread & Vine will be the exclusive caterers of The Kate. 

    You may bring in your own dessert.

  • The full room rental fee is nonrefundable within 30 days of the event.

  • The Kate does not have an exclusive parking lot.  Street parking information can be found here: https://www.geneva.il.us/1119/Downtown-Parking

  • No open flames, confetti or glitter. If you need to hang decorations, please use Command strips or other non-damaging options.  Please do not use strong tape, nails, or staples.

  • 100% of the room rental fee is due at booking.  The space will not be reserved until this is paid in full.  The room payment is non-refundable within 30 days of the event date.

  • Yes, The Kate is an ADA compliant establishment.  An elevator is available.
